Copper Clad Aluminum Wire and Strand

Copper Clad Aluminum Wire (CCA) is a bimetal composite material formed by cladding, welding, and drawing the copper stripe on the outer layer of the aluminum.

Copper Electroplated Aluminum Wire is formed through electro deposition, which plates the copper layer evenly on the aluminum bar so as to form interatomic force on the interface between the two metals, making them into a integrated material.

It possesses good, high strength, and strong solderability of copper, as well as the low density and good workability of aluminum. Besides, it has the advantages of uniform density, high compactness and high flexibility.

Further processing can be carried out on CCA, which includes tin plated, silver plated and stranding etc.
